How do I choose the right banner stand?

Just as there are numerous models of cars, so too there is a large variety of banner stands. The endless range can be confusing. Broadly speaking there are five categories of banner stands:

• Tension - non retractable banner stand
• Roller banner stand
• Cassette banner stand
• Outdoor banner stands

All five perform the same function, but each category has its own attributes.  How the banner is to be used will determine the category of banner stand from which you should be choosing. To help you obtain the correct product follow the flow diagram below and click on the appropriate links.

The banner stands shown above are all carefully inspected by Redcliffe's own technicians and have to pass stringent testing before they can be qualified to carry our own Redcliffe recommendation.

Tension Banner Stands

The telescopic or tension banner stand does not have a recoil mechanism, and the banner is not rewound into the base. They come with adjustable height poles. This type of banner stand rolls up into a lightweight tube or carry bag and come complete with custom printed graphics.

Roller Banner Stands

Rollup or retractable banners are similar to a portable movie screen. The displays have a recoil mechanism that allows the banner to be rewound into the base of the banner stand. These banner stands are easy to set up and the graphics are protected while transporting as they are rewound into the base. These stands come complete with custom printed graphics.

Cassette Roller Banner Stands

Cassette roller banner stands are rollup or retractable banners with a removable cassette. The cassette enables the user to easily replace or change their graphics in seconds. These cassette roller banner stands are easy to set up and the graphics are protected while transporting as they are rewound into the cassette. All these stands come complete with custom printed graphics.

Outdoor Banner Stands and Frames

Redcliffe's outdoor banner stands have maximum visibility and are designed to thrive in the wind and rain. All our outdoor banner stands are easy to use and easily transportable. They come complete with custom printed graphics and updating the graphics is straightforward.

An indoor banner stand by contrast risks being destroyed by inclement weather...and without the stability of a weighted base, the first gust of wind will topple the stand.

Eco-friendly Banner Stands

Artwork for Banner Stand Graphics

We normally produce your banner graphic directly from artwork you supply, see our artwork specifications for display graphics. If you are unable to supply your own artwork then just ask us to create the design or layout for you from either a detailed brief or using your own logo, text, pictures and background. Just decide what message or information you are planning to display, this could be in the form of a simple Word document or fax showing the desired layout, we will then produce a design for you to see and approve before producing your banner stand display graphic.
