Recyclable Pop Up Stands with Biodegradable Graphics
The hardware of our Pop Up Stands is made from 100% recyclable aluminium. You can choose from either a standard graphic or a biodegradable graphic.
See Advantage Pop Up Stand with biodegrable graphics
Our biodegradable graphics contains an enzyme additive that accelerates the breakdown of the polymer chain via bacterial digestion. However, this will only happen in a microbe rich environment (i.e. when buried) where the biodegradable media will biodegrade to dust within 2 to 5 years. Until it is buried, your biodegradable print will remain a top quality graphic. Alternatively, the waste graphic can be recycled into light switches, insulation or plastic cups, continuing the circle of life of the product.
We have tested this biodegradable graphics product and it truly does produce a very good quality result with no sacrifice to durability, longevity or vibrancy. Green media is definitely the way forward and biodegradable graphics are leading the way.
Remember that many other graphic media, using low density polyethylene, that claim to be recyclable are not generally recycled in the UK because facilities to deal with them do not exist.

Biodegradable Graphics - Exhibitions and events generate thousands of tonnes of waste each year as graphics in particular, are removed and binned after every event. By using biodegradable graphics, waste substrates no longer have to find their way to incinerators or clog up landfill sites. |

Recyclable Aluminium - The hardware of our pop up stands is made from 100% recyclable aluminium. The recyclability of aluminium is unparalleled as recycling does not damage the metal's structure, aluminium can be recycled indefinitely and still be used to produce any product for which new aluminium could have been used |
Compliant with International Tests
The biodegradable graphic range is compliant with the following independent and international tests:
ASTM D5338 - Determines the degree and rate of aerobic (aerobic: with oxygen) biodegradation of plastic materials on exposure to a controlled composting environment. This test is equivalent to: ISO 14852
ASTM D5511 - Determines the degree and rate of anaerobic (anaerobic: without oxygen) biodegradation of plastic materials on exposure to a controlled composting environment. This test is equivalent to: ISO DIS 15985
The product is currently being tested and is expected to fully conform to BS EN13432.
