Certificate of Authenticity
A great way to market your high quality, limited edition, giclee print is to offer a certificate of authenticity. It is an excellent selling point as it assures the buyer, and any future buyer, that they can verify the authenticity of the giclee print.
Artist and Printmaker
Redcliffe Imaging is a Fine Art Trade Guild Accredited Fine Art Printer. Only prints by members of the Guild conforming to Guild Standards can use the Guild logo.
To help you market your limited edition giclee print, Redcliffe can provide you with a hand embossed certificate of authenticity. The certificates are printed on archival paper and can be signed by both the artist and printmaker, it contains information on the artist, the title of the work, the media used and the number and date of the limited edition.
The certificate states: "The Fine Art Trade Guild has set minimum standards for a giclee print - to qualify for the title of a "giclee print" it has been made on archival quality coated paper and printed with pigment based archival inks, which are UV stable.
This archival print is produced using the giclee method of digital printing to the Fine Art Trade Guild standards. It has been printed on archival paper using a giclee printer with a LUCIA 12-colour pigment ink system. The artist and printmaker hereby affirm the authenticity of this limited edition with this certificate".

Please note that Redcliffe, as printmaker, can only issue Certificates for prints that we have produced.
