Hahnemuhle Torchon is a bright white acid-free paper with a parchment surface. It is especially suitable for reproduction of oil, watercolour and pastel paintings.

This 100% a-cellulose 285 gsm watercolour paper guarantees archival standards. The paper features a distinct textured surface and with its premium matt coating, Torchon meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.

The term "torchon" is taken from French and means "coarse structure." The special surface texture of this bright white paper is a reminder of this. It can capture the timeless original beauty and three dimensionality of an artwork in its own special way.
