Art Monthly is the UK's leading magazine of contemporary visual art. The Artist’s Newsletter styles itself as the artists information company abd includes information on public liability insurance, a series of toolkits on areas such as arts development, finding studio space, contracts, and calculating fees; and listings of commissions and opportunities.
BANA - Bath Area Network for Artists - is an artist-led network that is trying to raise the profile of arts activity in the Bath area with the aim of establishing and strengthening links between artists, artists' groups and art promoters, and of advocating for increased investment in local arts activities.
British Arts - Extensive web resources site that provides links and information for artists on suppliers, studio spaces, news, vacancies and opportunities, both nationally and in their area. Individual artists can also add their own site as a link.
Selling Art on Essential Artwork - Rather than charge you commission on every sale, Essential Artwork charge a low annual amount (or monthly installments) to put your artwork on their site. (Bronze membership is free but restricts artists to 5 items of artwork). The middle man is therefore cut out of any transaction you make and allows you to have direct contact with your buyers.
