Photographic credo:
I find all aspects of photography compelling but my main interest is in
producing abstract digital art from basic images such as patterns in nature,
landscapes, seascapes and man made artefacts. I am always experimenting and
my work can be viewed on my web site:

My first camera, at the age of 15, was a box Brownie and with this I began my lifelong affair with photography. In the early 1960s I worked as a junior at Country Life Photographic Studios, made tea and was general dogsbody for some of the top photographers including Norman Parkinson.
This was followed by a three year course in Photography at the London College of Communication then known as the London College of Printing.
After qualifying I went to work in several London Studios and two years later started work as a Freelance Photographer. There followed a varied career as a professional photographer.
I eventually diversified and in recent years have become more and more involved with digital images and websites. In 2007 I sold my online Business Promotional Gifts agency.
Photography is still my passion and I am continuously experimenting with patterns, colours and effects to produce my images. I currently use a Nikon D200 with several lenses. I also have a Canon G9 which as a smaller camera is ideal to carry around for the many image opportunities that always present themselves.
