Paul Darby

Paul Darby was born in Warwickshire, England in 1964 and has staged various exhibitions since he started painting and photographing 20 years ago. He has travelled extensively, and has had exhibitions in the UK with Medici Gallery, on the continent and in Jamaica, where he has lived for a number of years. Paul Darby has been runner up in European artist of the Year sponsored by BP. Paul now works and lives between Murcia, Spain and Warwickshire, England.

"At the foundation of my work I believe that it is important to stay true to oneself as an artist I feel the method of creativity and what I give out doing art is not so much a process but an ongoing creative way of life. I have deduced what painting and photography means to me. Your relationship to yourself, to the people around you; what you feel, what you have to say, and then how you see it".
