Installing HP Ultra Smooth Wallpaper

Applying a large graphic to a wall may seem daunting, but you don't have to be a DIY expert to install HP Ultra Smooth Wallpaper. Here's installation in a nutshell.

Prepare the wall so it's clean and blemish-free.

Pencil in guide lines for the first panel

Install each panel (wet, fold, unfold and smooth.)

Trim excess with a utility knife.

 

 

The wallpaper print is split into panels that are supplied in 500mm to 600mm widths, dependent on the wall size to be covered. Each panel is numbered so that the lengths can be installed in the correct sequence.

An extra bleed of 100mm is added to the far left and right panels and to the top and bottom of each panel. We advise starting with the central panel and then working left and right to the edges.

Hanging HP Ultra Smooth Wallpaper is quick, clean and the results are highly effective. The HP PVC-free Ultra Smooth Wallpaper is pre-pasted, so just wet the backing and apply to the wall. This easy-to-install wallpaper also tears off easily and comes with an HP warranty for clean removal.

Firstly make sure you have plenty of unobstructed room to work within so that the full design can be laid out as a visual reference, allowing you to trim off any excess prior to hanging. It is then a matter of ensuring that the surface you are applying HP Ultra Smooth Wallpaper to is clean, smooth and dry; marking out the wall to show where the individual drops will fall (aligning and allowing for your overlap areas), and your are ready to go.
