Production and Installation

The wallpaper print is split into panels that are supplied in 500mm to 600mm widths, dependent on the wall size to be covered. Each panel is numbered so that the lengths can be installed in the correct sequence.

An extra bleed of 100mm is added to the far left and right panels and to the top and bottom of each panel. We advise starting with the central panel and then working left and right to the edges.

We now offer a professional installation service for digitally printed wallcoverings in the UK. Please contact us for details or request an estimate for installation.

How to Apply

Hanging Digimura wallpaper is quick, clean and the results are highly effective.

Firstly make sure you have plenty of unobstructed room to work within so that the full design can be laid out as a visual reference, allowing you to trim off any excess prior to hanging. It is then a matter of sorting a scaffold tower if you need one; ensuring that the surface you are applying Digimura to is clean, smooth and dry; marking out the wall to show where the individual drops will fall (aligning and allowing for your overlap areas), and your are ready to go.

As with any wallcovering, it is always recommended to prime the surface prior to applying the adhesive, as this will guarantee that the product takes to the wall consistently across the area. You'll find that Digimura really is simple to install, and all you have to do now is sparingly apply the adhesive to the wall area, one strip at a time, match up the design as necessary, smooth out any bubbles as you go, leaving any overlap areas until last for finishing.

Finally, once all the panels are hung, clean off any residue adhesive, remove the scaffold tower if you used one, stand back and admire your work, pack up, leave and let the Digimura installation do the rest of the work.
