What We Check For
Image Resolution
We check that your image resolution is sufficient for the intended print size and will flag any areas likely to print soft or pixelated.
Colour Mode
We verify that your file is in CMYK (or advise on conversion from RGB), and check for any out-of-gamut colours that may not reproduce as expected.
File Format
We confirm your file format is suitable for output and advise if a different format such as PDF would give better results.
Fonts & Embedded Content
We check that fonts are embedded or outlined and that any linked images or assets are included and at full quality.
Bleed & Safe Area
We check that important content is clear of trim edges and advise on any issues with crops or bleed marks that may affect the finished print.
Overall Suitability
We give you our honest assessment of whether the file is ready to print and what, if anything, would improve the result before you commit to an order.
